Description

This competency-based workshop will prepare the community health-care provider with the knowledge and skills to care for children requiring a G/GJ tube, nasogastric tube and enteral feeds. Participants will have the opportunity to practice skills related to stoma assessment, troubleshooting common G/GJ tube complications and insertion and maintenance of a nasogastric tube. This workshops runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.


Pre-requisites:
Registered participants are required to complete the pre-learning package prior to attending the workshop in order to fully participate in the learning activities planned throughout the day.
