Description
This competency-based workshop will prepare the community health-care provider with introductory knowledge and skills to care for children requiring non-invasive ventilation (e.g. BiPAP) and mechanical in-exsufflation (e.g. Cough Assist). Participants will engage in case discussions and video scenarios that will support development of problem-solving skills in caring for children with complex medical needs.
Pre-requisites: Registered participants are required to complete the pre-learning package prior to attending the workshop in order to fully participate in the learning activities planned throughout the day.
